Arborio rice

Grown in the town of Arborio in the Po Valley of Northern Italy, this medium grain rice is renowned for it’s high starch content. Traditionally Arborio rice is used to make risotto where the rounded and firm grains of rice add up to a creamy texture that separates this rice dish from all others.
